Hello petrolheads, carlovers, drivers, theoretical drivers whom don’t have a car yet and greetings to anyone with an interrest in cars. All welcome to my blog.
The cars have been around for quite a while now, so there is quite a lot of them around. To say the least. And the manufacturing of the new ones doesn’t seem to stop. Unforunatelly, only a few lucky ones will get the opportunity to experience a whole lot of them. We others have to try and do our best. One has got to envy the guys from the Top Gear or others. I am on my quest to try as much cars as possible, even if is only around the block.
For some, the car is just a thing, a tool for transportation, that gets them from A to B. There is nothing wrong about it of course. For me personally, and I bet for other car guys as well, the cars is like a friend, a safe space that helps us to hide from the everyday chores and things that slowly drive us insane in this world. Driving is a relaxation for me, especially when combined with a nice curvy B road on a trip of some sort. I want to feel the emotions the cars can bring up. I’ll never forget how I fell in love with the NB Miata as we were getting out of the parking space. Though I was sitting in the passenger seat, it took the Miata only about three meters to absolutely enchant me.
During my driving career (if I can call it that way) of about twelve years I’ve been quite lucky to have been given the chance to drive cars ranging from an old Ibiza, through various AMGs all the way up to Nissan GTR. I’m not a professional driver. I’m just a regular bloke that got lucky a few times. Almost every car I’ve driven has got a special place in my heart. And I mean it in the most possitive sense.
In the articles that have yet to come I’ll try to share my experiences with you. I will write as the cars will come. Be it a used car or a new one. Maybe you’ll be looking to buy a specific car and my experience will help you to decide or to look at it from a different perspective. Keep in mind, I’m not a pro. I like both the cars and the writing. These are my views. The only way to learn about a specific car is to try it out. Not a single article or a video can substitute the personal experience. Go and sit in the car you’re interrested in. Get comfy in it. Go for a test drive. Feel how it behaves on the road. Write your own review.
I want to keep it simple here. You won’t find long and endless thousand word essays here. I’ll try to get straight to the point so it is easier and faster to get through for you, the readers. This article is the exception of my rule here. Buckle up and enjoy the ride with me.
TLDR: The cars are awesome. Driving is awesome. I love cars. I’ll share with you my experiences. I’ll keep my reviews short. Hope you will like what you find here.
Disclaimer: As I’m not a native English speaker I may do a grammar mistake from time to time. I’ll try to do my best though. Please be kind :] Cheers!
About me
My name is Vašek and I’m from the Czech Republic. I got my master’s in the Media Studies at the Charles University here in Pragu. I like driving and I like to share my experiences with others. I’ve got a few dreams in regards to cars. Drive the Nürburgring and at least one of the current F1 GP tracks. To build a car and race it. Whether it be a little angry hot hatch or anything bigger racing on a circuit or a rwd drifting to a gold medal.
